Imagine you want to host an event at your home. You call a caterer. You discuss food to serve guests. The caterer shares their ideas on how to make your event a reality. Most importantly, you tell the caterer when you want to have the event and how many people will attend. A plan begins…
Getting Started With Solar
Getting started on your home solar project is a lot like talking to a caterer. You have ideas about solar energy, saving money, and doing smart things, and you probably have some questions, too. The solar company shares its ideas and experiences and answers questions. But what they do not know is how much electricity your house uses every year. This usage history is key to getting the right design for your home.
It is easy to find, too.
This information can be found easily on your most recent PECO bill. Whether you get bills in the mail or online, each month PECO shares with you how many kilowatt hours (kWh) were used in the prior 30 days. Plus, they also show your last 12 months of electric usage in a handy little chart.
Here is an example:
Take a photo, scan or email this portion of your bill. Once we have it, then we can design to meet your needs. Let’s replace guessing and wondering with concrete details.
Whether you are ready to go solar or just beginning to plan, this is where to start.

P.S. If you can’t find your electric bill, don’t feel comfortable sharing it, don’t have the time to email or need to wait for who knows what, then you are not ready for solar. That’s on you. Stay with the herd.
